Restaurant Akioka
Expressing Italy with Hokkaido ingredients
a dish full of seasonal vegetables
reflective of the chef's inquiring mind
The elegant white exterior of this restaurant in a residential area attracts the eye. Owner chef Ryohei Akioka's Italian cuisine uses carefully selected ingredients directly procured from Hokkaido producers. For example, the Hokkaido deer meat is procured from seasoned hunters well acquainted with the hunting grounds, and Chef Akioka specifically requests 1-year old bucks with supple, delicate flesh who have been raised on grains and acorns. The Southdown lamb from "Okita Ranch" was raised amidst the sea breeze of Hidaka, and the chef lays in the entire animal and prepares dishes from each cut of meat. All of the dishes on the menu are highly satisfying because they allow you to enjoy lots of seasonal vegetables.
There are 2 types of set lunches, and for dinner, you can choose between a la carte and a full course meal. A full array of wines is also available, including local wines that bring out the charm of Hokkaido ingredients.
The chef puts his heart and soul into expressing Italy through Hokkaido ingredients, so we would like you to leisurely enjoy each dish.
