Aji no Miwa

"Miwa Bowl" (¥900) features about 10 types of ingredients, including shrimp, squid, and vegetables, in a velvety soy sauce–based sauce.

An eatery with the nostalgic taste of home cooking
and old-timey décor that will delight the eyes

This restaurant opened near Noboribetsu Hot Spring Town around 1971 and later moved to its present location in front of JR Noboribetsu Station. The proprietor's cooking skills have been honed through long years of experience, and the dishes he serves are filled with a homey warmth. The menu includes many items that date back to the original opening, and older customers will be delighted at the nostalgic flavor while young customers and foreign tourists will enjoy the fresh, new taste of authentic Japanese food.

"Udon Noodle Stew" (¥750) is served year round. The broth based on stock made from bonito and kombu seaweed is delicious.
The furnishings of this restaurant include lucky items, like a cross section of a mammoth tree with over 300 years of annual rings and an antique cash box.
From this outside, this looks like a very ordinary restaurant, but when you open the door, you will be surprised at the sight of a giant Ultraman figure.
