An eating place with a fun menu that revolves around cod roe
A store directly operated by "Kaneshime Matsuda Marine Products", which processes fresh cod roe from walleye pollack. There is an eat-in corner inside that has no end of visitors. In addition to cod sashimi with kelp and "Tarako Bowl", which also comes with cod roe tempura, the cod roe–themed menu features "Tarako Home Special" with cod roe, salmon, and salmon roe and "Tarako Combination Bowl", which gives you a taste of Hokkaido salted cod roe with red pepper. All dishes let you eat your fill of cod roe.

As you might expect of a specialty store, there is a wide range of cod roe types on sale here, including cod roe pickled in wild mountain wasabi mustard.
