Bakery Shop Nanakamado
"Shiraoi Croquette Sandwich" (¥320) made from Kojohama cod roe, and "Shiraoi Wagyu Beef Cheddar Cheese Burger" (¥640).
Painstaking attention to everything from ingredients to prices
makes this bakery shop popular with locals
While insisting on using Shiraoi-grown ingredients, this bakery owes its popularity to bread made from select ingredients chosen for their quality and food safety, offered at a conscientious price. You will want to try their "Shiraoi Wagyu Beef Burger" with a patty of local Japanese Black beef sandwiched between buns baked on site with Shiraoi-grown mugwort. Wildly popular with the locals is "An Mochi" made with sticky rice pounded fresh that morning and homemade red bean paste. They only make them on Fridays and Saturdays, but a variety of types are offered. You can have them put some aside for you if you call to reserve by 3 days before.

"Anpan" (¥88), a sweet roll filled with homemade red bean paste, made the old-fashioned, time-consuming way with Tokachi adzuki beans.
