While admission tickets may be purchased at Upopoy on the day, tickets cannot be issued once the park has reached full capacity for the day in question. For this reason, buying tickets in advance is strongly recommended. <a href=\"https:\/\/ainu-upopoy.jp\/en\/ticket\/\">Click here<\/a> for details (reservations can be made from 28 days before the date on which you intend to visit). Please include your name, contact information and details of the bank account into which you wish the refund to be paid. See the school group reservation page for details.<br>There are currently no programs available for other groups.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n        <\/div>\n      <\/section>\n      \n    <\/li>\n    <li>\n      <section id=\"faq000344\" class=\"faq_block\">\n        <header class=\"faq_head\">\n          <h3 class=\"faq_q\">Are there any facilities suitable for group visits?<\/h3>\n        <\/header>\n        <div class=\"faq_body\">\n          <div class=\"faq_a\">\n<p> The museum exhibits and traditional performing arts held in the Cultural Exchange Hall are suitable for group visits. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n        <\/div>\n      <\/section>\n      \n    <\/li>\n    <li>\n      <section id=\"faq000343\" class=\"faq_block\">\n        <header class=\"faq_head\">\n          <h3 class=\"faq_q\">Is parking for buses and coaches available?<\/h3>\n        <\/header>\n        <div class=\"faq_body\">\n          <div class=\"faq_a\">\n<p>The boarding area to the west of the park can be used for boarding and disembarking.<br>Parking information for buses and coaches will be provided at the boarding area.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n        <\/div>\n      <\/section>\n      \n    <\/li>\n    <li>\n      <section id=\"faq000342\" class=\"faq_block\">\n        <header class=\"faq_head\">\n          <h3 class=\"faq_q\">Are there any catering facilities for groups?<\/h3>\n        <\/header>\n        <div class=\"faq_body\">\n          <div class=\"faq_a\">\n<p>There is a restaurant with approximately 30 seats and a food court with approximately 90 seats at the Entrance Center. There is also a caf\u00e9 with approximately 10 seats at the Gateway Square. If you intend to eat as a group, please contact the relevant caf\u00e9 or restaurant in advance. Please note that tables in the food court cannot be reserved in advance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Visitors are welcome to bring their own food and eat in the rest areas in the park. When bringing your own food, please take any waste home with you. Please note that rest areas cannot be reserved in advance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--\u3000<p>Dining experiences are available for school groups (reservation required). The Lawn Square, with the traditional <em>cise<\/em> (houses) of the <em>Kotan<\/em> (Traditional Ainu Village) in the background<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. The Cikisani Square, with either the National Ainu Museum or Lake Poroto in the background<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. In the vicinity of the <em>Kotan<\/em> with the traditional <em>cise<\/em> in the background (this area is recommended for smaller groups)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please note that there is no\nsignage designating areas for photographs.\n\n\n\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n        <\/div>\n      <\/section>\n      \n    <\/li>\n    <li>\n      <section id=\"faq000338\" class=\"faq_block\">\n        <header class=\"faq_head\">\n          <h3 class=\"faq_q\">Is there a dedicated space where tour conductors and bus guides can wait?<\/h3>\n        <\/header>\n        <div class=\"faq_body\">\n          <div class=\"faq_a\">\n<p>Tour conductors and bus guides can use rest areas such as those found in the Entrance Center.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n        <\/div>\n      <\/section>\n      \n    <\/li>\n  <\/ul>\n<\/section>\n\n<section id=\"faq_service\" class=\"faq_sect sect_block\">\n  <h2 class=\"sect_title title\">Visitor services<\/h2>\n  <ul class=\"faq_list post_list\">\n    <li>\n      <section id=\"faq000335\" class=\"faq_block\">\n        <header class=\"faq_head\">\n          <h3 class=\"faq_q\">Where are the emergency medical services, fire service and evacuation areas?<\/h3>\n        <\/header>\n        <div class=\"faq_body\">\n          <div class=\"faq_a\">\n<p>Local emergency medical services are provided by Shiraoi Municipal Hospital (3-1-1, Hinode-cho, Phone: 0144-82-2181 *English-language support provided when available). Patients may be transferred to medical facilities in nearby municipalities or other areas based on the judgment of medical staff. Firefighting services are provided by the Shiraoi Fire Department (call 119 for emergency services). In the event of an earthquake, tsunami or other natural disaster, the designated evacuation area is the hill behind Upopoy, near the memorial site (617-4, Aza Shiraoi).
