Half price admission to Upopoy from 2:00pm: discount available from October 1

It has been four years since Upopoy National Ainu Museum and Park was first opened, and we have received many visitors since then. We are now introducing a special discount allowing visitors arriving at 2:00pm or later to enter Upopoy for half price. This discount will be available from Tuesday, October 1. This is one of a number of initiatives we are carrying out to provide satisfaction for visitors to Upopoy, and we hope that many visitors will take advantage of it.

※This discount was provided according to the Upopoy Visitor Attraction Promotion Strategy formulated by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism on March 26, 2024, which includes the strategy “Consider a tailored pricing system with features such as discounts for evening entry”.

1. Discount period

Valid from Tuesday, October 1, 2024 to Sunday, March 30, 2025

• Upopoy will decide on the period of this ticket for future years based on sales this year.

• Tickets for admission from 2:00pm can currently only be purchased from the ticket desk at Upopoy on the day of the visit.
• Free all day for junior high school students and under.
• No group discount.
• Cannot be used together with other discounts.
• Some features in Upopoy are not included in the price of admission, such as some activities and special exhibitions in the museum.
• Check the timetable for programs held from 2:00pm and Upopoy’s closing time.
