Upopoy One-day Bus Tours

Travel to Upopoy the Easy Way with Round-trip Bus Tours from Sapporo
Upopoy National Ainu Museum and Park, which is operated by the Foundation for Ainu Culture (Chuo Ward, Sapporo City: President, Teruki Tsunemoto), is offering round-trip bus tours from Sapporo between Tuesday, December 10, 2024 to Wednesday, March 19, 2025. This initiative to make it even easier for visitors to enjoy Upopoy in winter is based on the Upopoy Visitor Attraction Promotion Strategy formulated by the Hokkaido Regional Development Bureau of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism in March 2024.
Upopoy has a range of experiences that can only be enjoyed in this season, including a display of block-shaped illuminations depicting animals related to Ainu culture.

1. Overview
Operating period:
Tuesday, December 10, 2024 to Wednesday, March 19, 2025
- During the tour period, tours will not run on days on which Upopoy is closed
Departure points:
Three hotels in central Sapporo (Sapporo Excel Hotel Tokyu, Sapporo View Hotel Odori Park, ANA Crowne Plaza Sapporo)
Price:
Visitors requiring entry tickets: 3,000 yen (adults), 2,600 yen (high school students (ages 16-18))
Visitors not requiring entry tickets (ages 15 and under, one year pass holders, etc.): 2,000 yen
Reservations:
Make a reservation through the URL below before 3:00pm on the day before your tour. There is no minimum number of participants, tours with reservations will run.
