Café RIMSE

Run by the Hope Social Welfare Corporation based in Shiraoi, the warm wooden interior design makes Café RIMSE the perfect spot to take a break when you arrive at Upopoy or before you leave. In addition to Ainu dishes made using local ingredients, a range of snacks, drinks and souvenirs are available.

This shop offers cakes and pastries to take away. The cup cheesecake made with thick Hokkaido cheese and pies made with Hokkaido apples are particularly recommended. Limited edition pies are also made at various times throughout the year. Soft-serve ice cream, home-roasted coffee, and soft drinks are available, in addition to confectionery to take home and original products featuring Ainu designs.
