Shiraoi burgers and bagels were born in 2007 to give guests a taste of ingredients produced in Shiraoi. Each dish is served on a bun or bagel made from Hokkaido wheat. Since then, a number of stores within the city have begun to sell "Shiraoi Burgers" and "Shiraoi Bagels".
